  • The ACAS Code of Practice and its application

  • Wrongful dismissal and breach of contract claims
  • Discrimination in the workplace and types of discrimination
  • Employment tribunal procedure, including forms ET1 and ET3
  • The role of evidence in employment tribunal cases
  • Preparing for and conducting an employment tribunal hearing

Upon completion of this course, participants will have a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental principles of Employment and HR Law in the UK.

They will be able to confidently advise clients on employment contracts, redundancy, settlement agreements, and the legal tests required for determining employee status.

Participants will also gain knowledge on the ACAS Code, Health and Safety at Work, unfair dismissal, constructive dismissal, wrongful dismissal, discrimination, and Employment Tribunal practice, rules, and procedures.
